Despite the current treatment options for different types of alopecia, there is a need for more effective management options. Recently, Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) was evaluated for stimulating hair growth.
Hair laser program is the most ideal convenient and non-invasive treatment for hair loss and represents a relatively new and efficacious treatment. The mechanism behind how it can promote hair growth is still not clearly understand even until today, but the most believed hypothesis is a mechanism called Photobiomodulation, act as stimulating hair follicle. Although hair laser is widely use nowadays in common hair clinic, but like the principle of our hair wellness center “Personalized and Unique”, we seek for the most fresh and innovative device that served our principle. Thus, our hair wellness center has 2 types of hair laser, LLLT, the conventional but highly effective one, and LLLT PlusR, the “Personalized and Unique”, which has revolutionary function from conventional device.
Hair laser treatment represents a safe and effective treatment option in hair loss who do not respond or are not tolerant to standard treatment.
This process presumably operates on the principle of the stimulation of hair follicle cells using Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) in combination with Light-Emitting Diode (LED) for better results.
LLLT is one of the FDA-approved treatment for androgenetic alopecia (AGA)
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a type of medical laser, mainly used red light (600–700 nm) and Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs) is non-coherent light. Both have ability to promote hair growth.
The results of LLLT after frequent session include promoting hair growth and decreased hair loss at the same time, which will gradually give the thicker look for the bald areas, increased blood circulation around the scalp to maintenance healthy hair and scalp, decreased healing period by facilitate the healing process, lessen oily scalp due to decreased sebum production, boost hair follicle metabolism and anti-inflammation. Combination of LLLT with the other treatment methods such as topical minoxidil, platelet-rich plasma, microneedling, etc., can act synergistically to enhance hair growth.
The patients that are good candidates for hair laser include androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium, alopecia areata, chemotherapy-induced hair loss, burn wound at scalp, oily scalp and healthy hair and scalp patient who want to take care of their hair.
In addition, our hair wellness center’s highlight is the outstanding brand-new innovation hair laser device. This treatment call LLLT Plus, which is composed of 3 different lights (different wavelengths) which each one has their own major effect on hair and scalp. LLLT Plus can design and compose which light and how many percentages of each light will be used. LLLT Plus can change parameter in each session correlate to hair and scalp condition problem to pinpoint the treatment effect in each visit. For example, this visit the main problem is hair loss, the light parameter will be different from the previous visit that main problem is oily scalp.
